Stations of the Cross

“If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” (Luke 9:23)

The objective of the stations is to help the Christian faithful to make a spiritual pilgrimage through contemplation of the Passion of Christ.
 
Those who make the Stations of the Cross at church, moving station to station (or following along as the celebrant moves from station to station), can be granted a plenary indulgence. 
The Stations of the Cross have been a Gate of Heaven tradition for many years and the Knights of Columbus have helped our clergy conduct this Lenten devotion.
